EndCore is live

The server is up and anyone can join. No whitelist, no application, no queue to get past except the real one when it is busy.

EndCore is Los Santos after the outbreak. Ambient traffic and crowds are gone. The dead are spread over the whole map, they see and hear you, and they are the reason a rifle is sometimes the worst thing you can carry.

#What is in it

• Survival that actually ticks. Hunger, thirst, radiation, infection, immunity and body temperature, updated every minute whether you are watching or not. Let any of them go and it starts taking health off you.
• Three kinds of dead. Walkers, fast runners and brutes. They track noise, search where they last saw you, attack vehicles and can drag a driver out through the window.
• A grid inventory. Eight by six, 30 kg, a five-slot hotbar, backpacks, trunks, gloveboxes, stashes and bags on the ground. Weapons carry their own ammo and wear out.
• Death that costs you. Half the cash you carried always drops, and the rest rolls. What drops sits where you fell, in a bag marked on your map, for a couple of days.
• Bases. Plant a flag, claim the ground around it, build walls, gates, storage and a workbench. Pay the upkeep or watch it rot. Other people can and will come for it.
• Vehicles worth finding. Nothing is parked neatly any more. Abandoned cars turn up damaged, low on fuel and usually locked. Break in, hotwire it, get it to a garage lot and it is yours.
• Traders and barter. Settlement traders sell for cash or for goods, hold limited stock, charge more as their shelves empty and pay less for what they already have too much of.
• Skills, perks and quests. Eight skills that improve by doing, a perk tree on top of your character level, and survivors at the settlements with jobs that need doing.
• Parties and groups. Four survivors to a party, sharing XP and loot. Groups are the version that lasts between sessions and can hold bases and vehicles.

#The next few weeks

Expect rough edges. Things will be tuned, and some of it will be tuned because of what happens in the first fortnight — spawn rates, prices, upkeep and loot are all numbers we can move.

If something is broken, report it in Discord instead of farming it. That genuinely gets it fixed faster, and it keeps you out of the ban list.
