EndCore Apocalyptic FiveM

How to join

What EndCore is, what you need to play, how to connect, what your first hour looks like and what to do when things go wrong.

EndCore is an apocalyptic survival server for FiveM. Los Santos after the outbreak: no traffic, no crowds, and the dead spread out across the whole map. You scavenge what you need, watch your hunger, thirst, radiation and infection, build a base if you can hold one, and deal with the other survivors you meet.

It is free to play. There is a store, and nothing in it makes you stronger — see supporter perks.

What you need

  • A legal copy of GTA V on Steam, the Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic. FiveM checks it. A pirated copy will not get you in.
  • FiveM, the multiplayer client. Install it, run it once and let it finish updating.
  • A microphone. Not required, but voice is how most situations here get resolved, one way or the other.
  • Some free disk space. The first connection downloads the server's content; after that it is cached.

How to connect

Use the Connect button at the top of this site. It hands the server straight to FiveM, so have FiveM running first.

If that does not work, the Discord invite on this site gets you to the same place, and someone there can point you at the server.

Note

We do not publish a raw IP address. The connect button and the Discord are the two ways in. A "EndCore" address you found somewhere else is not us.

If the server is full you will wait in a queue and see your position. Stay in the window — leaving puts you at the back. Supporters get priority in that queue and can take the reserved slots.

Your first hour

  1. Make a survivor. First name, last name, date of birth, gender and nationality. You can keep more than one character; how many depends on your account.
  2. Look around before you move. Safe zones are marked on your map: nothing spawns inside one, anything that wanders in is cleared out, and chases end at the edge. Hot zones are marked too — stay out of those for now.
  3. Press TAB. Your inventory is a grid, eight cells across and six down, carrying 30 kg before bags. Items take up space by shape and can be rotated, and the five hotbar slots are on keys 1 to 5.
  4. Find water, then food. Thirst runs out faster than hunger. Houses, containers and dead bodies all hold something.
  5. Search corpses. A dead zombie can be searched for a few seconds before it disappears. Scrap, bandages, water, a lockpick, sometimes cash.
  6. Find the trader. Traders at the settlements sell for cash or for barter, and buy the junk you drag back.
  7. Read first steps before you wander off the road.

Keys worth knowing

KeyWhat it opens
TABInventory, and whatever is next to you: a stash, a trunk, a ground bag
RReload from ammo in your grid or your bag
EInteract: search a body, talk to a trader, use a door
JCrafting by hand
KSkills and perks
F5Quest journal
F6Survivors: your party and your group
F7Supporter perks, and what you already own

Most of these can be rebound in FiveM's own keybind settings. /hud changes what the HUD shows, and /cinematic hides all of it.

The stats that kill new survivors

The server ticks your condition once a minute, whether you are paying attention or not.

StatWhat it does
HungerFalls about 0.8 a minute, so roughly two hours from full. Under 5 you cannot sprint. At 0 you take damage every minute.
ThirstFalls about 1.2 a minute, so roughly an hour and twenty. At 0 it hurts more than hunger does.
RadiationBuilds while you stand in a hot zone and bleeds off slowly outside one. At 400 you are sick: damage every minute and your immunity draining away.
InfectionComes from bites. It only grows once it has started, and the lower your immunity the faster it climbs. At 100 it kills you.
ImmunityRecovers on its own while you are not irradiated. It is the only thing holding infection back.
TemperatureSits at 98.6. Below 95 or above 104 you take damage. Heat from a campfire helps.

The HUD only shows a stat when it needs attention, so if hunger or radiation is on your screen, it already matters.

When things go wrong

  • You died. The death screen counts down about twenty seconds, then you hold E to wake up at a spawn point you pick, on 60% health, with hunger and thirst at 60 and radiation and infection cleared.
  • Your gear. Whatever dropped stays where you fell, in a bag marked on your map for a couple of days. Half the cash you carried always drops; everything else rolls. Go back for it, carefully.
  • You are stuck in geometry or under the map: ask in Discord and an admin can move you.
  • You found a bug. Report it in Discord. Using it instead is a ban — see the rules.
  • Someone is cheating. Do not argue with them in chat. Report it in Discord with the time, the place and the names, and a clip if you have one.
